Sandra Dee: Miley Cyrus as Sandra Dee?

by Jaclyn Gallucci on September 5, 2010

Rumor has it Justin Bieber wants to remake the 1978 cult classic Grease and play Danny Zuko alongside Miley Cyrus as Sandra Dee.

The remake of the movie featuring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John seems to be a no-go as of now. Cyrus has no intention of playing Sandra Dee and Bieber has no intention of playing her tough guy love interest.

Bieber has been repeatedly quoted throughout the Internets as having said, “It would be a lot of fun. It’s been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny” and  “I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation. She can sing, dance and act.”

Bieber also reportedly wants Susan Boyle to play Principal McGee.

So, what do you think? Truth? or rumor..
