Melissa Gorga: The Newest Real Housewife of New Jersey?

by Missy Yates on September 2, 2010

Word on the street is there’s a new Real Housewife of New Jersey in town–her name is Melissa Gorga, and

Teresa Giudice: More table-flipping in her future?

she’s Teresa Giudice’s sister-in-law.

While there has been no official confirmation, and Teresa and the ladies made no mention of Melissa joining the cast of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey during their appearance on the Today show Thursday, it makes sense that Bravo would continue to make the show a family affair. During the Today interview, Teresa does mention that some of her family members have been considered for the position to replace departed castmate Dina on the show.

Interestingly enough, it seems that Melissa is already entangled in the show’s drama-filled web. Melissa, who is married to Teresa’s brother, recently had a baby–could it be the cryptic “nephew” Danielle was talking about on the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion show? You know, the one that sent Teresa into a Andy Cohen-shoving rage?

Its looking likely. According to sources, Teresa and Melissa don’t get along very well–which could be why Teresa didn’t congratulate her on the birth of her baby. So much for those illegitimate lovechild rumors. They were way more exciting.

The source of the alleged feud? Money, of course. “[Melissa] has two live-in nannies and lives in a $4 million mansion on an exclusive lot in Montville,” the source told Radaronline.com. “Teresa and Joe’s house looks like a garage compared to theirs.”
