Lindsay Lohan’s Lawyer Due In Court To Discuss Her Next Steps

Fresh out of jail and about to leave rehab, everyone is wondering: what’s next for Lindsay Lohan? (Besides filming the Linda Lovelace movie, of course.)

Her attorney and a prosecutor are meeting in a Los Angeles court Wednesday to discuss just that as they plan the actresses’ next steps after she is released from rehab.

The hearing will be the first time Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox will weigh in on the star’s probation violation sentence, which included a stint in jail, rehab and continued probation.

Lohan, 24, is not required to attend the hearing, court officials said.Court and prosecution officials said Tuesday they did not know what would be discussed during the hearing. Los Angeles county district attorney’s spokeswoman Jane Robison said prosecutors would abide by whatever doctors evaluating Lohan recommended.

Fox had been expected to issue a ruling on the actress’ case on Tuesday afternoon, but superior court spokesman Allan Parachini said any ruling would come at Wednesday’s hearing.

Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, did not respond to e-mail and phone messages seeking comment.

Fox took over after another Judge Marsha Revel recused herself from the case after a prosecutor complained the judge met with defense attorneys and called rehabilitation programs without notifying her.

Revel ruled in July Lohan violated her probation in a 2007 drug case by missing seven alcohol education classes since December. Lohan spent 14 days in jail and was immediately taken to an inpatient rehabilitation facility at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she had been ordered to remain for three months.

Holley announced shortly before Lohan was taken to jail on July 20 that the actress had completed her alcohol education program.

Revel also ordered Lohan to remain on probation and undergo random drug and alcohol testing after her jail and rehab stays.

Lohan pleaded guilty in August 2007 to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine; no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving. She was sentenced to three years of probation.

The plea came after a pair of high-profile arrests earlier that year.

Her mother, Dina Lohan, said in an interview on the “Today” show that her daughter would move to New York after her release from rehab. They currently live in Merrick.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
