Nesconset Crash Kills Biker, Injures Three Others

by Long Island Press on August 15, 2010

A car/motorcycle crash last night killed the bike’s driver and injured three others.

Cosimo Mollo, 81, was driving east on Route 347 at 10:50 p.m. last night in Nesconset. He made a left turn onto Lake Avenue and was hit by a motorcycle. When the bike hit the car, its driver, Richard Primo, and passenger, Timothy Gray, were hurled from it, according to Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Squad detectives.

Primo, Gray, Mollo and his wife Lucille were all transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center. Primo, a 30-year-old Lake Grove native, was pronounced dead at the medical center. Gray, Mollo and his wife were all treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Both vehicles—Mollo’s 2007 Mercury Milan and Primo’s 2007 Suzuki motorcycle—were impounded for safety checks.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
