Cliff Lee Trade to Yankees in Exchange For Jesus Montero Likely

by Samantha Batel on July 9, 2010

The Yankees are on the brink of changing up their roster, signing Cliff Lee in exchange for Jesus Montero and two other players.

Pitcher Cliff Lee, who may be traded from the Seattle Mariners to the New York Yankees

MLB Trade Rumors, a website dedicated to this type of action, followed the media’s speculation down to the minute. By 10:58 a.m. this morning, it reported that the trade is “imminent.”

Second baseman David Adams and pitcher Zach McAllister may join Montero in Seattle in exchange for Lee, a deal that, some report, the Mariners could not pass up.

If Lee adopts the Yankee pinstripes, it will be his third move in the past year-plus. He has recently gone from the Indians to the Phillies and then to the Mariners. New York looks like his next stop.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
