Uniondale Man Arrested for Armed Robbery

by Long Island Press on July 3, 2010

A Uniondale man has been arrested for robbing two teens at gunpoint in Merrick on Friday, Nassau County police said.

A pair of 16-year-old boys were walking south on Williams Street when they were approached by two suspects, one of whom asked if he could use the victim’s phone, while the second suspect grabbed the victim from behind at 2:30 p.m., police said.

The first suspect then pointed a handgun at the victim’s face and demanded his money and property, police said. Both victims complied, and the suspects fled on bicycles heading north on Williams Street.

Matthew Delvalle, of Uniondale, was later arrested and charged with four counts of robbery. He will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
