by Amanda Marzullo on June 28, 2010

According to reports from TMZ.com, former tennis star, Jennifer Capriati was rushed to a Florida hospital because of an apparent overdose.

Paramedics responded to a call from a hotel in Riviera Beach, Florida, and according to her father she is recovering well, reports TMZ.

Capriati, now 34, began her professional tennis career as a teen. In 1990, at 14, she made the French Open semifinals and in 1991  made appearances in the semifinals of Wimbledon and the US Open. Later in 1992, she clinched the Women’s Singles gold medal at the Barcelona Olympics.

In the mid-nineties she took a break from tennis. In May of 1994 she dealt with other drug related issues and was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana at a Florida motel.

Capriati rebounded and returned to the sport. In 2001, she won the Australian and French Opens. In total she has won 14 career titles including three grand slams. Capriati has not competed since 2004.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
