Blogging Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on LI – Wednesday, Noon

by Long Island Press on June 23, 2010

Its day 3… and I’m at the site where the Lutz family’s one-story ranch was torn down on Ringneck Lane in East Setauket. I’ve been here all morning with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Alure Home Improvements and hundreds of volunteers. Well, the rubble is gone and the foundation has been built. It looks like they’re ready to put up the framing and walls.

Volunteers carrying 2 x 4’s are getting ready to load the materials onto the house. Unfortunately, it rained last night which has been causing some muddy conditions for the workers… There are more trucks at the scene today and for the first time… about 20 spectators are holding up signs that say “We love Extreme Makeover: Home Edition!”

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
