Valley Stream Muggers at Large

Two men who robbed a 15-year-old boy at knifepoint in Valley Stream and are being sought by Nassau County police.

The victim was approached by the two suspects, one with a knife, who demanded his cell phone and cash at 12:15 a.m., police said. The robbers fled the scene running west on Melrose Street, police said. The victim was not injured.

Both suspects are described as black males, between 16 and 17 years old and weighing 150 pounds. One of the robbers is described as 5 feet, 11 inches and wearing blue jeans with a dark hooded sweatshirt. The other robber is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and wearing blue jeans with a gray and yellow hooded sweat jacket.
