Joanna Garcia, Yankee Nick Swisher Engaged

Joanna Garcia is engaged to New York Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher. Maybe the couple can get a group discount with actress Minka Kelly and fellow Yankee Derek Jeter at Oheka Castle.

The news broke last night before the opening pitches of the Yanks’ 8-2 routing of the Cleveland Indians, when Swisher told press he’d been engaged to Garcia since May 19. Garcia, 30, and Swisher, 29, have been dating since September of last year.

Previously, Garcia had been romantically linked to Trace Ayala, who she was engaged to and is close friend to Justin Timberlake, and Robert Buckley, of the CW show One Tree Hill.

Garcia herself has had screen time on the CW, most notably on the sitcom Reba, as well as on the short-lived shows Privileged and Welcome to the Captain.
