A Great Neck man was arrested Saturday morning for assaulting an 
unidentified woman Wednesday night, Nassau Police said.
According to police, Curtis Lowery, 47, had a verbal argument with the 44-year-old female victim, which soon escalated to a physical attack. Amidst the abuse, Lowery threw an electric fan at the victim, causing injuries to the back of her head. Lowery continued the aggression, grabbing the victim and tossing her into a cabinet, causing her to sustain multiple injuries to her back, hips and arm.
The victim came forward this morning to report the incident, and Lowery was subsequently arrested.
He is scheduled for arraignment today at First District Court in Hempstead.
