Most automakers understood the recession hit their customers hard, and adjusted their fleets to compensate. Small, if any, hikes in sticker prices. Zero percent financing. Paying the first month of a car payment. Most automakers did things like this.

And some didn’t. Some increased prices and offered even more expensive models. While not every car maker in here fits that description—Nissan manufactures the GT-R, Audi the R8 Spyder—there is precisely zero chance of seeing a sale tag on any of these rides.
