Brooklyn Man Charged With Multiple Robberies

A Brooklyn man was arrested Friday for a four bank robberies over the past four months, Nassau County police said.

Dean Marneris, 41, was  charged with four counts of robbery.

Robbery Squad detectives said he entered the TD Bank located on Sunrise Highway in Wantagh and demanded money from the bank teller.

Marneris was apprehended shortly after and officers recovered the money taken from the bank, police said.

After additional investigation, Marneris was also connected to three previous robberies, one occurring on March 10 at the same Wantagh bank and two at the Plainview branch on Old Country Road on March 20 and Dec. 27 , police said.
