Cops Seek Details of Rocky Point Bar Stabbing

Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives seek the public’s help regarding the early morning stabbing of a Bronx man at a Rocky Point bar Saturday.

According to detectives, Jason Jackson, 20, of the Bronx was in The Edge bar, located at 621 Route 25A in Rocky Point, when he was approached by several unknown people. An altercation ensued, with Jackson stabbed three times in his abdomen at approximately 3:10 a.m. March 20.

Jackson was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he underwent surgery, detectives said. He was listed in stable condition.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
