Cops: Man Sold Alcohol to Minors at Greenlawn Deli

by Long Island Press on February 28, 2010

A man has been accused of selling alcohol to minors on Saturday night in Greenlawn, Suffolk police said.

Second Precinct Crime Section officers began alcohol and tobacco compliance checks after hearing concerns from various Huntington residents. The officers were aided by an underage police agent.

Roberto Rodriguez-Rodriguez, 43, was found to be selling alcohol to underage kids at Brothers Deli, located at 243 Broadway, police said. He is charged with first-degree and second-degree counts of unlawfully dealing with a child. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on April 26.

Five other establishments were found to be complying with age-related sales laws.
