North Massapequa Man Robbed, Stabbed

Nassau police are searching for a trio of robbers who attacked a man in North Massapequa on Friday night.

The 44-year-old victim was had just gotten out of the car at his North Delaware Avenue home when three men threw him to the ground, took his wallet and at one point, stabbed him on his right side with a knife at 9 p.m., police said. The robbers then fled heading north on Alaska Avenue.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for wounds and was then discharged.

All three suspects are described as white men in their mid 20s.

Eighth Squad detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
