Copiague Man Charged With Working While Collecting Unemployment

A 35-year-old Copiague man was arrested Thursday for collecting unemployment insurance benefits while he had a job, New York State police said.

Constantino Gonzalez was found to have collected $3,081 in unemployment while he was employed by Vulpis Contracting in Glen Cove, police said. The investigation originated from the Department of Motor Vehicles.

He was charged with grand larceny.
