Eleven people were arrested for impaired driving offenses during a sobriety checkpoint in Huntington Station late Friday night and Saturday morning, according to Suffolk police.
A total of 595 vehicles went through the checkpoint at southbound Route 110 at Church Street, and 11 intoxicated or impaired drivers were arrested, police say;
Vasily Vagin, 30, of Huntington, 46-year-old Steven Margolin of East Northport, 26-year-old Christine Johnson of Huntington, 24-year-old Jacqueline Sadler of Melville, 31-year-old Michael Colozzi of Huntington Station, 46-year-old Russell Imbesi of Melville, 29-year-old Tuncay Adem of Deer Park and 18-year-old Rosana Orellana-Yanes of Huntington were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
Christopher Theodorakis, 27, of Halesite was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.
Julio Aguilar, 32, of Huntington was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol.
