suffolk_police_car2-300x1323A Yaphank man driving with a suspended license and drugs in his car has been arrested after colliding with a cop car Saturday night, say Suffolk County police.

Mitchell Alexander, 44, of Michelle La., Yaphank, was driving his wife’s 2007 Ford SUV on Route 112 at about 9:01 p.m. Dec. 12, when, at the intersection of County Road 83 in Coram, he made an illegal U-turn and crashed into a police car driven by Police Officer Richard Caiado of the Sixth Precinct.

No one was injured, but the crash resulted in damage to both vehicles.

A computer check at the scene of the crash determined that Alexander’s license was suspended. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana at the time of his arrest.

Alexander was arrested for Driving with a Suspended License and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. He was released on station house bail and will be arraigned at First District Court, Central Islip, on a later date.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
