A Franklin Square motorcyclist was killed in a hit and run crash in Franklin Square on Saturday morning.
Nassau cops say John Deiker, 46, was riding a Honda motorcycle when a vehicle smashed into him at the intersection of Commonwealth Street and Naple Avenue at 11:46 a.m.
The vehicle fled the scene.
Deiker was taken to Franklin Hospital where he died from his injuries less than an hour later.
The investigation is ongoing.
