Teen Shot Dead at Brentwood Party

police-line-21A Brentwood teenager was shot and killed at a party two blocks from his house on Friday night, Suffolk police said.

Officers were called to 384 American Blvd. after a 911 caller reported that a teenager had been shot and upon arrival they found 15-year-old Christopher Hamilton lying on the front lawn with a gunshot wound to his head at 10:03 p.m.  He was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he died.

Hamilton was attending a party with approximately 30 other teenagers.  Witnesses told police the shots were fired from a lawn across the street.
