Three men were arrested on Friday for stealing political signs promoting Democratic candidate Kristen McElroy for Hempstead Town Supervisor, Nassau police said.

Police say after two signs were placed at the intersection of North Central Avenue and the Southern State Parkway ramp at noon, a man was seen removing the signs. He entered a silver pick-up truck, which then drove southbound on Central Avenue and a short time later was stopped by police.

Stephen Koumos, 23, of Malverne, Bruno Romano, 49, of East Rockaway and Howard Schwartz, 41, of Valley Stream were charged with petit larceny.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
