Adam Fenty, 23, was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt southbound on Piping Rock Road when he lost control of the vehicle on wet roadway and struck a tree at 12:23 a.m., according to 2nd Squad detectives.

Fenty was taken to North Shore University Hospital in Glen Cove where he was pronounced dead 90 minutes later. The Nassau County Medical Examiner’s Office will continue investigation.

Fenty’s Facebook profile describes him as a bartender at The Brass Rail, a restaurant in Locust Valley. A woman who answered the phone there had no comment.
