A fire was intentionally set at a pharmacy in Glen Cove on Sunday afternoon, Nassau police said.
A paper towel display was set on fire in the CVS on Glen Street but only caused minimal damage due to activation of the sprinkler system at 1:23 p.m., according to Arson/Bomb Squad detectives. A woman suffered a minor injury and was taken to a local hospital where she was treated and released.
There were approximately 50 customers in the store who evacuated prior to police arrival. Glen Cove Fire Department responded to the scene.
