Queens Man Charged With 13 North Shore Burglaries

A Far Rockaway man was arrested Wednesday for burglary and then confessed to more than a dozen other break ins across Nassau going back two years, Nassau police said.

Glen Cove Police arrested Anthony Carruth, 45, for a burglary in Glen Cove on Oct. 21 and he then admitted to committing 13 other residential burglaries in six communities since March 5, 2007, Nassau police detectives said. 

Carruth was charged 13 counts of burglary for seven burglaries in Sea Cliff, two in East Williston, as well as one each in Glen Cove, Mineola, Glen Head and Westbury.
