by Long Island Press on September 30, 2009

cheeseBoth Cheesecake Factory restaurants on Long Island are inviting guests to support Long Island Cares, Inc-The Harry Chapin Food Bank with their ‘You Dine, We Donate’ event.

On Wednesday September 30th, all guests who bring in two cans of soup when they dine at any Cheesecake Factory will have 10 percent of their guest check donated to Long Island Cares.  Long Island Cares will also receive whatever soup is donated.

“We are very grateful that The Cheesecake Factory has chosen to work with Long Island Cares in an effort to raise awareness about hunger on Long Island  and to provide both food and financial donations to support our mission,” said Paule Pachter, Executive Director of Long Island Cares.  “They are  providing an excellent opportunity for everyone to join in the fight to end hunger in our communities.”

The two Cheesecake Factory locations on Long Island are in the Smithhaven Mall, Lake Grove and in the Walt Whitman Mall, Huntington.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
