Six Arrested In Huntington Station “John” Sting

suffolk_police_carA prostitution sting operation in the Huntington Station area resulted in the arrests of six men, or johns, say Suffolk County cops.

Second Precinct Crime Section Officers, assisted by COPE and Patrol Officers, conducted the sting to deal with“Quality of Life” type of offenses. To lure the johns, an undercover female officer posed as a prostitute.

The men were arrested when they propositioned the officer for various sexual acts.
The following men were arrested and charged with Patronizing a Prostitute 3rd Degree:

· José Valencia, 24, of 9 East 6th Street, Huntington Station
· David Soto, 20, of 35 Somerville Street, Brentwood
· Robert Pike, 57, of 717 Conklin Street, Farmingdale
· Carlos Coreas, 23, of 35 Somerville Street, Brentwood
· Ernesto Bonilla, 22, of 175 Suffolk Avenue, Brentwood
· Agustin Argueta, 26, of 56 West 18th Street, Huntington Station

The above defendants were issued Appearance Tickets and will be arraigned at First District Court, Central Islip, on November 24, 2009.
