Man Arrested, Charged In East End Rape Case

police_lights-3A 24-year-old  Connecticut man was arrested and charged with third-degree rape by Southampton Town Police after they said he had sex with a 16-year-old girl at his house in the hamlet of Bay Point, near Sag Harbor.

Cops arrested  William B. O’Boyle, of Greenwich, Conn., after an investigation stemming from a complaint that he raped a 16-year-old female at his South Fork residence.  O’Boyle was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, in addition to the rape charge.

The Detective Division is continuing the investigation and is requestion anyone that may have information about this or any other crime please contact the Detective Division at 728-5000 or the Police Information Hotline 631-728-3454.
