BEEP BOOP LEGOS STOP-MOTION BEEP BOOP HUZZAH!!

by Brad Pareso on August 24, 2009

I’ll be honest here and say I was not prepared for an ADHD- and seizure-inducing video involving Legos and 8-bit music on a Monday morning. I did a lot of things this past weekend and getting sleep was not one of them. Imagine being in one of the boats landing on the shores of Normandy on D-Day, but instead of an impending hailstorm of gunfire, you were greeted with tiny Danish bricks and NES controllers. Do you know what that’s like? DO YOU? IT AIN’T PRETTY!

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

This video is like a mash-up of Requiem for a Dream and The Wizard (robbed at the 1990 Oscars) with a dose of the White Stripes video for “Fell In Love With A Girl.” It uses stop-motion camera work, so it might have actually taken 1500 hours to make, as the creators claim on the video’s YouTube page. And it basically encourages your brain to freak out. It’s like these two guys sat down and said, “OK. Let’s make a video that requires a ton of time to make and will make people so hyperactive that nobody will every try to top it.” That would be like making a soup that was revolutionary in the soup world and incredibly delicious, but made people pee so much they never had time to sit down and try to make an equally good soup. Is it an unfair competitive advantage, or a masterful plan to never be beat?

The First Annual NBNnnys

Two thousand and nine was a banner year for the Internet, if that banner is covered in ads for car insurance and home mortgage refinancing, “Team Jacob” and “Team Edward” stickers and shitstains from the Twitter bird. What better way to remember the ups [...]

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
