Nassau County detectives are looking for suspects connected to an Inwood shooting that wounded three people.
A group of men was traveling north on Lawrence Avenue at 11:40 last night and were followed by two black men, police said. One of the men pulled a handgun and started firing on the larger group and began to fire.
One victim was shot in the foot and another was wounded in the thigh. A 10-year-old girl was also injured when a bullet traveled through the windshield of the car she was in, which was parked nearby when the shooting began. She sustained burns to her neck.
None of the injuries were life-threatening, police said.
