Justin Timberlake celebrated the opening of his renovated, environmentally friendly golf course in style on the 10th tee — by smacking his drive 291 yards (266 meters).

The singer and actor smiled Saturday after the tee-off, saying “nobody’s happier about this course” than he is. Timberlake was the first to play a round at his Mirimichi golf course near Memphis, Tennessee, after he spent $16 million renovating the course to make it more eco-friendly.

Timberlake drew a crowd of about 50 onlookers after starting an early round of 18 holes at 7:30 a.m. He played Saturday with his mother, stepfather and an old family friend from Tennessee.

The Memphis native got the idea to buy the course from his dad back in 2007.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
