Once a rising star in LI’s state Senate delegation, Balboni has become a leading national expert on homeland security issues. After leaving the Senate, he was named New York State Deputy Secretary for Public Safety. Now he’s the managing partner of Bluewater International as well as the resident terrorism expert for ABC, NBC, Fox local news and other outlets. But don’t rule out public office for this ever-popular Nassau Republican. That future could still be in the stars.
