Currently serving his seventh term in the state Senate, Fuschillo has been addressing the biggest issues facing Long Islanders for more than a decade. Drunk driving, cyberbullying, identity theft—he’s sponsored legislation battling them all, including Leandra’s Law, which makes it a felony to drive drunk with a child in the car and mandates all convicted drunk drivers to use ignition interlocks. Fuschillo has made economic development and recovery a top priority, helping create the Broad Hollow Bioscience Park at Farmingdale State College—critical to bolstering biotechnology companies on LI. Last year he authored a law further expanding it. As one of the GOP’s LI Gang of Nine, Long Islanders can always count on Chuck.
