A Massapequa branch of Chase Bank was robbed Saturdat morning.
A man entered the bank, located at 4210 Sunrise Hwy., and gave a demand note to a teller at 10:05 a.m. Nassau County police said the teller complied and gave the robber an undetermined amount of money. The robber then fled the bank in a vehicle heading east on Grove Street.
No injuries were reported among the five employees and eight customers in the bank during the incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, 30 years of age, around 6-feet-2-inches tall. He is unshaven, wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark Yankees hat and sunglasses. He appears to match descriptions given for an assailant in four other robberies in Massapequa Park, Hicksville, Oceanside and Lynbrook.
