Suffolk cops today arrested a Wyandanch man and accused him of driving while intoxicated–with his children in the car.
A 2001 Mercury Marquis was observed by a Suffolk cop weaving on the road and not keeping in its lane on Straight Path in Wyandanch. Police pulled over the car and eventually arrested the driver, Donald Wilson, 43 of 48 Jamaica Ave., Wyandanch at around 11:46 p.m. on Nov. 13.
Wilson’s breath smelled strongly of alcohol, and Wilson was reportedly unsteady when he stood.
Incredibly, Wilson has six passengers in his car, including two children, ages 2 and 7. Wilson, who had six passengers in the vehicle including two children age and 2 and 7, exhibited slurred speech, smelled strongly of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet. A check of his license revealed a prior conviction for DWI and that he was also driving with a suspended license.
Wilson was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree.
