Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans escaped some more trouble this week after she missed a court date back in January. The court date stemmed from an incident when Evans and boyfriend Kieffer Delp allegedly broke into an abandoned building to smoke marijuana.

Evans said she missed the date because she was sick and had issues with her car. If you watch the show, “sick” is usually Evans’ way of saying she’s hungover.
Evans avoided going to jail over the missed court date and showed up this week in North Carolina, along with MTV cameras, to explain the the judge why she couldn’t make it last time.

And, in case you missed it, North Carolina police were investigating a video that showed Evans beating up a woman while her friends cheered on, the result of an altercation over boyfriend Kieffer Delp.

The couple was in court last week after Jenelle filed assault charges against Delp.
Delp had previously brought Evans to court after she destroyed his iPhone.
Ah, young love.
Evans got pregnant when she was 16 years old with then-boyfriend Andrew Lewis who was in jail and later gave birth to her son Jace, who is currently in the custody of Evans’ mother.
Lewis has since had another child with another girl, and Evans has linked up with the unemployed, pot-smoking Delp.
