Two masked gunmen carjacked a driver in Roosevelt early Sunday morning, Nassau County police said.
The 24-year-old man was driving a Toyota northbound on Brookside Avenue when a vehicle struck him from behind near Cramer Court and both cars pulled over at 4:30 a.m., police said.
That’s when the duo flashed their handguns and ordered the victim out of the vehicle, police said.
The duo got in the victim’s car along with the driver of the second car, which two others got in before both vehicles fled the scene northbound on Brookside Avenue, police said.
New York State Police found the unoccupied Toyota on the westbound Southern State Parkway near Elmont Road.
There was no description of the suspects.
