A Great Neck man has been accused of drunken driving after the NYPD said he fatally struck a pedestrian on the Long Island Expressway in Queens over the weekend.
Jordan Savvides, 22, of Jericho, was walking along the LIE near Little Neck Parkway when he was hit by a westbound vehicle at 4:24 a.m. Saturday, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 69-year-old Christian Ludlow, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and vehicular manslaughter.
Arraignment information for Ludlow was not immediately available.
