DC Murder Suspect Found Dead on Long Island

A man wanted for killing his girlfriend and injuring their toddler daughter in Washington, D.C. this weekend was found dead in Hempstead, Nassau County police said.

Javon Steven Foster, 27, was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot found in a vehicle on Fairway Drive at 5:35 p.m. Monday.

Foster was wanted for fatally shooting 20-year-old Salina Brown on a Metro Bus in Washington, D.C. on Sunday.


Their daughter, who is just shy of her second birthday, was grazed by a bullet but survived the shooting.
