An armed robber shot and wounded a gas station clerk during a hold up in Medford on Saturday night, Suffolk County police said.
The victim was was inside his booth at the BP Gas Station on Route 112 when the robber displayed a handgun, demanded money and shot the attendant at 8:39 p.m., police said.
The robber fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money. The victim was taken to Stony Brook Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
