The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward for information in the cast of a Canadian Goose that was found shot with an arrow near Sag Harbor Cove.
The Goose was found across from Long Beach Road at Fosters Memorial Beach this weekend. The bird is still able to walk, fly and eat, officials said.
Roy Gross, chief of the Suffolk SPCA, called the shooting an act of animal cruelty.
Anyone with information can contact the Suffolk County SPCA at 631-382-7722. All calls will be kept confidential.
