Suffolk County police are looking for a robber that held up a West Babylon bank on Monday afternoon.

A man entered the Bank of America on Montauk Highway where he handed a teller a note demanding money and stating that he had a gun at 1:30 p.m., police said.
The teller complied and the robber fled the bank on foot with cash.
The suspect was described as a white man, 6-feet tall, between 25 and 35 years old. He was wearing a black-knit cap, dark sunglasses, a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and light-colored surgical gloves.
Detectives are continuing the investigating and ask anyone with information on the bank robbery to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
