Manhasset Menorah Vandalism Probed as Hate Crime

A large Menorah was intentionally knocked over in front of a Jewish temple in Manhasset over the weekend, Nassau County police said.

Investigators have called the case a bias crime. Police said the Menorah was knocked down in front of Temple Judea on Searingtown Road sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.

Third Squad detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
