A suspect wanted on federal cocaine dealing charges was apprehended following a traffic stop in Cutchogue over the weekend, authorities said.
Southold Town Police officers stopped a vehicle for a violation on Route 25 at 1:42 a.m. Sunday when he found one of the passengers had an FBI warrant out for his arrest, police said.
The passenger, 31-year-old Benard Soto of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.

Soto was held at Southampton police headquarters before being transferred to the FBI.
