A Southampton man has been accused of stabbing his brother last week.
Southampton Town Police said Maxwell Irwin, 22, stabbed the victim repeatedly on Wiltshire Street in Southampton on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 17.
Officers apprehended the suspect hours later. The victim was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital fro treatment.

Irwin was arrested and charged with assault, criminal contempt and criminal possession of a weapon.
A Southampton Justice Court judge set bail for Irwin at $1 million.
