An Islip man was mysteriously found dead in his driveway on Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk County police said.
A 911 caller reported finding the body of 48-year-old Kevin McCarthy outside of his Chicago Avenue home shortly before 3 p.m., police said.
The victim had suffered a head injury, police said.
McCarthy was taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.
