Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty to Selling Pot Online

A drug dealer has admitted to selling marijuana on Long Island through a website he set up that allowed buyers to shop online.

Michael Bennett pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony criminal sale of marijuana at Suffolk County court after being indicted last year on more than a half dozen drug charges.

Prosecutors said the 22-year-old Brooklyn man ran Suffolk Sensi, a website that details various breeds of pot for sale in what was billed as  “Long Island’s Premiere Flower Delivery Service.”

Judge James F.X. Doyle ordered Bennett, veteran of the war in Afghanistan who had been jailed since his arrest last year, released without bail after he changed his earlier not guilty plea. He will be sentenced in January.

The website, which has not been taken down, advertises marijuana for as cheap as $80 and hashish that cost up to $650.
