A 60-year-old man was pistol-whipped by a pair of armed robbers who stole his watch in Woodbury on Thursday morning, Nassau County police said.
The victim arrived at 60 Crossways Park Drive West and exited his vehicle when a white SUV pulled up carrying two who men who confronted the victim, displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s wristwatch at 11:35 p.m., police said.
The gunman struck him in the side of the head, knocking him to the ground, stole the wristwatch and fled in the SUV.
The victim suffered minor lacerations to his wrist and knees but refused medical help.
The suspects were described as black men, about 25 years old, 5’10” tall, wearing dark colored pants, dark colored hooded sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces.
