Nassau County police are looking for a pair of armed robbers who held up a Franklin Square bank at gunpoint Friday evening.
Two men, one armed with two handguns, entered the Capital One Bank on Franklin Avenue and verbally demanded money from several tellers at 5:30 p.m., police said. The tellers complied and the robbers fled with cash.
The duo was last seen running out of the rear door into the parking lot heading northbound into the creek bed behind Friendly’s.
The first suspect was described as a white man in his 40s, 5-feet, 7-inches tall with a thin build, wearing a blonde wig, dark baseball cap and orange sunglasses.
The second suspect was described as a black man in his 40s, 6-feet, 2-inches tall, with a stocky build, wearing a blue jacket with white sleeves and armed with two handguns.
