Suffolk County Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured an East Farmingdale man Tuesday evening in North Amityville.
Naresh Wadhwa, 38, was driving his 2005 Acura northbound on Route 110 at Nathalie Avenue in North Amityville when his vehicle was struck by a 1996 Saturn that was traveling southbound on Route 110 and made a left turn in front of Wadhwa’s vehicle at approximately 8:45 p.m., according to police.
The driver of the Saturn, Chester Spinek, 87, of East Farmingdale, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip and is listed in serious condition. Wadhwa, of Lisa Lane in Bay Shore, was also transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
